Can I get a lower price?
The price of the lessons is non-negotiable. The learning materials are included in the price. I will send to you materials (I will select carefully the learning materials that will be suitable for your level of English and interests) before each lesson. If you decide to take more than 10 lessons, after the 10th lesson I will give you a complementary learning pack.
Can I get the first lesson for free?
I know that a lot of English teachers would offer the first lesson for free in order to get more students. I don’t offer a first free lesson because I want to start working with my students right away. After the first lesson I open a file for each new student and I will prepare a program for him/her (even if the student doesn’t come for a second lesson). I take very seriously each student and the goals of my students are my goals as well. I will send the student learning materials for the next lesson (and all this is a time-consuming process for which I prefer to get paid). You can decide not to take a second lesson, but I will still open a file for you and choose the appropriate learning materials for you.
My goal is not to offer to you cheap lessons where we will chat randomly. This will result in you taking lots of lessons (which at the end of the day will be a lot more expensive and useless), and after a few months you will be on the same level as you were when you started.
My aim is to see results fast and to see my students improve their English for real.
I heard from a friend of mine that the price that he pays for a lesson with you is a lot lower than what I am supposed to pay. Why is that?
I am always loyal to my former students and this is a way to show my courtesy to them. Many of my students would first come to improve their English or to prepare for a certain exam (for instance C1 Advanced (CAE)), and a year or two later the same student would come again and would want to start preparation for TOEFL. Since I already know the student, I would give him/her a lower price (i.e. the same price that he used to pay in the past). These are exceptions that I make for my former students and that’s why they pay less. Same applies for family members of my former students.
Can I get a letter of recommendation?
I do not provide my students with letters of recommendation because there is a conflict of interest. I can help you write a CV, check it, correct it, help you to practice for a job interview but I will not give you a letter of recommendation.
Can I ask you for a legal advice?
I do not provide legal advice or consultations to my English language students.
