Dear Nick,
I wanted to drop you a line before leaving. My whole family is all over the moon with my achievement and I owe it all to you. When you first told me that I could get into Harvard, I was like ‘…nah…. that guy is a dreamer…’ and look at me now; the proudest and happiest first-year student at Harvard University. I would like to thank you, thank you, thank you with all my heart. Now, I have a few questions for you re my first year………..

This is exactly what I needed. Nick is unbelievably friendly and keeps on correcting me all the time (sometimes I wanted to say: come on Nick, give me a break ?). I was taking lessons for three months, 3 times a week just before starting my MBA. What I like with Nick’s lessons is that we can talk with him about anything, and I mean it. i.e. tennis, politics, EU, but what I like the most is that I’ve learned so much about academic writing which HELPS ME A LOT with my master degree now. Nick, you are the best English teacher that I’ve ever had. I’m 34 years old and married in England. I was having a hard time learning English since me and my husband speak in French at home. The result: he speak perfect French and I didn’t speak English. Moving to England was not easy for me but Nick helped me to learn the language really easy. I was taking so many lessons before but somehow everything seemed useless. I was thinking that it was my fault but it seems that it was not.
